We got tired of
gear that quit.

So we built our own. Fifteen years later, we still build every unit by hand in the USA — and we still answer the phone ourselves.

Workshop where the campers are built
The original two-bay shop — where the first build started in 2011.

It started on a logging road, with a $30,000 camper coming apart at the seams. Soft floor. Rotted frame. Two hard seasons and it was done. Robert Taylor had spent his life around trucks and tools, and standing there in the rain he knew one thing for certain: the road wasn't the problem. The way the thing was built was.

Building a camper frame by hand
— 01 / The Build

If nobody else will build it right, you build it yourself.

Robert went back to a rented two-bay shop and started over from the frame up. No wood — wood rots. An aluminum exoskeleton over composite panels that take a beating and shrug it off. Four-season insulation. Nothing on it that didn't earn its place.

The first one wasn't pretty. The second one was. By the third, the guys he hunted and worked with were asking where they could get one.

Truck camper out on the trail
— 02 / The Standard

Built for the work and the back. Not the brochure.

We don't sell a lifestyle. We sell a rig that holds up when you're three days from pavement and the weather turns. So we obsess over the things that actually matter out there: weight you can carry, a frame that won't rack, and a build that won't let water in.

Every spec we publish is a real number. Tell us what you drive, and we'll tell you straight whether it'll work — even if the answer costs us the sale.

Family-owned camper company
— 03 / The Family

Same family. Same shop. Same standard.

Fifteen years on, we're still family-owned and still building in the USA. The phone number on this site rings to people whose name is on the building — not a call center, not a chatbot.

That's also why the guarantees aren't fine print. 90 days to send it back, no questions. Three years of warranty in writing. Around here, that's just what a handshake means.

"If it won't survive the road I drive,
it doesn't leave the shop."

The Long Way Here

Fifteen years, one standard.

No overnight success, no venture money. Just a build that kept getting better and word that kept getting around.

2011

The first build

One frustrated owner, one rented two-bay shop, one camper built the way it should've been from the start.

2014

The exoskeleton locks in

After three years of testing in real weather, the aluminum-over-composite design becomes the standard on every unit. No wood. No rot. No exceptions.

2018

Out of the garage

Demand outgrows the two-bay shop. We move to our current build facility in Bend, Oregon — and keep every unit USA-built.

2021

1,000 rigs on the road

The thousandth unit ships. Most owners found us the same way: a buddy with one wouldn't shut up about it.

2026

The two-platform lineup

The Hard Wall truck camper and the Camp Tour X34 caravan — both built on the same hard standard, ready for your truck.

What We Won't Compromise

Three rules we build by.

Build the essentials right

We'd rather do ten things perfectly than fifty things halfway. No gimmicks bolted on to pad a spec sheet.

Stand behind every unit

90-day returns and a 3-year warranty, in writing. If we got it wrong, we make it right. Simple as that.

Answer the phone

A real person, every time. The folks who build your rig are the same ones who pick up when you call.

From Our Family To Yours

When you buy from us, you're buying from people.

I know what it's like to drop real money on something you've been thinking about for a long time, and to wonder if the company will still be there if something goes wrong. We will be. We've been here fifteen years and we're not going anywhere.

Call before you buy. Ask the hard questions. That's exactly how I'd want my own family to do it.
